Sunseop Jung is Professor of Law at Seoul National University, where he specialises in comparative technology law, digital governance, and the regulatory frameworks governing Korea's advanced digital economy. His research examines how one of the world's most digitally advanced societies navigates the governance challenges of emerging technology.

Professor Jung has contributed to Korea's legislative development on data protection, AI governance, and platform regulation, and has advised the Korean government on digital economy strategy. His comparative research on East Asian technology governance models provides the Council with insight into regulatory approaches in high-tech economies.
