Biography
Edward Buckingham is Professor at Monash Business School, where he specialises in financial economics, market microstructure, and the impact of technological change on financial markets. His research examines how algorithmic trading, decentralised finance, and digital asset markets are transforming price discovery and market efficiency.
Professor Buckingham has served as an advisor to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission on digital asset regulation and has contributed to IOSCO working groups on fintech and market surveillance.
