Biography

Eva Huang is a Lecturer in Business Law at the University of Sydney Business School, specialising in financial regulation, consumer protection, and the legal governance of fintech innovation. Her research examines how existing legal frameworks adapt — or fail to adapt — to the challenges posed by digital financial services.

Dr Huang's comparative legal analysis of fintech regulation across Asia-Pacific jurisdictions has contributed to understanding how different legal traditions approach the balance between innovation facilitation and consumer protection. She has advised regulatory bodies on responsible lending in digital environments and contributed to consumer law reform consultations.
