Sunghan Ryu is Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Antai College of Economics and Management, where he researches digital platforms, innovation ecosystems, and the economics of digital marketplaces. His work examines how platform dynamics shape market competition, innovation incentives, and consumer welfare in the Chinese digital economy.

Dr Ryu's comparative research on platform governance models across China, Korea, and the United States provides valuable insight into how different regulatory traditions approach the challenge of governing digital markets.
