Biography

Yueh-Ping Yang is Associate Professor at National Taiwan University's College of Law, specialising in financial regulation, securities law, and the governance of digital financial infrastructure. Her research focuses on how regulatory frameworks can adapt to accommodate fintech innovation while maintaining investor protection.

Dr Yang's comparative analysis of financial regulation across Asia-Pacific jurisdictions — particularly Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore — provides the Council with detailed understanding of how different legal systems approach the challenge of governing rapidly evolving financial technologies.
